My first workout - 2008…

I got off to a good start this morning with a one mile walk on the treadmill. I know some would say that it wasn’t much of a workout, but since I’ve been out of it for quite awhile I figured I would start slow for the first week, then start adding to it into my second week. I want to enjoy the workout as much as I can, not quit going into my second week.
I did a short video on my workout and wanted to post it today but got way to involved with installing a photo album on my blog. Blogging is still new to me but I’m trying my best to put all the pieces together.
Don’t laugh, here’s my stats from this morning’s walk on my treadmill.
Distance: 1.106 miles
Speed: 2.7
Time: 25.29
Incline: 2.0
Calories: 138.9
Carbs: 17.3
Now that time of 25.29 will get a lot better when I’m able to start jogging. I remember when I could do a 7 minute mile. That was in my younger days. My goal is to run that 7 minute mile in 10 months. My stats are pretty sad to say the least. Give me a month and all of my stats will look a little better.
Todays meals:
Breakfast: A Cup of Oatmeal and Orange Juice
Lunch: Broiled Chicken with a Tossed Salad no dressing
Dinner: Broiled Salmon and Tossed Salad
Thats it, I can’t believe no junk food!
